The following is based on the notes I made when I wrote down the main story for the comic.........I was inspired by the Yoosu fanfics I had been reading

So if anyone gets inspired by this, make it and link me to it because I would like to see

An angel and a demon, the angel tends to be annoying and a jokester. The demon in contrast appears angelic, and is always annoyed by the angel. One day he dares the angel to show his wings and the angel proudly shows them. Demon is amazed at the magnificent size, and splendor. The demon refuses to show his. (At this point I doubt the angel knew that his friend is actually a demon) The angel kids that he is probably ashamed of having duller wings. Demon questions him how it is possible that one like him can have such wings. The angel says to have found the secret and because he likes him/puts up with his tease or because he acknowledges that the demon is his favorite person to bug, he will share the secret. That sometimes actions aren’t as important as what is felt inside; love compassion…
That night in solitude the demon pulls out his wings, he is shocked by what he sees (either feathers falling out, changing color or because they are white and tiny). When the angel sees his wings he is mesmerized. He walks to touch the demon’s wings. The demon, while his eyes are closed, says “don’t touch them or you’ll be damned.” Then he hears the angel’s response, “My, can’t you see the strong pure light is not coming from me, your wings although a demon’s, have the brightest glow I’ve seen. How we are born does not determine the type of character. It’s what we feel inside that counts.” He says this as he is caressing the Demon’s wings. The demon looks back with his sweetest smile, “I guess I too have learned the secret.”

On one scene while the angel refuses to show his wings, Demon - “Hell no” Angel – “My, My, what a sharp tongue you have, probably the reason your wings are unlike mine”

One point to show: he being an Angel is open and trusting but he just assumes the other is an angel as well. As a demon, and because of his kind appearance, his job was to bring an angel down, as a negative influence which is the reason why he doesn’t reveal he is a demon. The demon is also way younger in living age from the angel although they appear the same age.
It could be that he was scared he was losing his wings – grayish feathers falling out and he has his eyes closed because he is scared. In a longer version, the change could take a longer period of time when he notices his wings can change color. Each time he pulls out his wings he notices that his wings stay white longer. Although he believed it’s an advantage he could use against the real angels, deep inside he actually wanted to be one of them. Instead of him being a negative influence, his friend was more of a positive influence on him. He cries because he notices that he probably reached the limit of when his wings can remain white, which is just a few minutes until they turn black. Once he realizes this, he cries. Through the bond they share, the angel felt his friend’s sadness and was able to find him.

Flashback: “Remember that some Angels are demons in disguise” The angel questions, “and can there be angels in demon’s disguise?” The teacher ponders, “Well I’ve never met one, but perhaps.” The angel responds, “Well I meant angels disguised as demons but sure, a real demon that is actually an angel would be great/really interesting.”
“Teacher, I met one… he is the kindest.”

This was so beautiful, and the coloring in this is especially beautiful and detailed. It must have taken a lot of work. The youtube version is another stunning masterpiece! I love how you did it. Seriously. This is just magnificence.

Yeah it was a lot of work, specially since I really wanted the comic to look nice and I was putting more effort on my portfolio, I really had to work fast on the comic

At least the sketching I was able to do as I commuted to school but the actual coloring was tough but the good thing was that I did take into account the amount of time I had to work on it so I didn't really procrastinate

As for the youtube one, since I did that for fun....well it was fun, it's just that when I had to save it, my computer couldn't handle it so I had to save it in multiple parts and then unite them later

So proud of you! Definitely not procrastinating! That's good. I could only imagine the time it took to complete, so it is good that you were able to manage your time.

Oh, wow.
The story is very interesting. I wish it would be longer

I like both of the character designs, especially the blond guy. And you draw beautiful wings.
Only bad side I find is that the text is bit blurry/pixelated in some areas, but that can be only in my screen

If I wrote fanfics I would probably extend it, to also include more boy-love

but since it was for school and although we had the whole semester to work on it, I also had other homework and before I knew it the due date was approaching and I had to get it done fast

But at least I got it done

even though I still feel that some drawings could have been better

Who knows maybe I'll illustrate a side-story with another pairing, specially since I have an idea.

For the characters, they were based on real people but I went back and forth between wanting them to be recognizable and wanting them to look different (unrecognizable). As for the wings, thank you, I can't remember the last time I drew wings so it was fun. This project did leave me wanting to draw more magical creatures...I've been drawing human musicians for too long

Oh it might be that I re-sized the image directly on flash and not on photoshop. I looked at the version I have saved on my computer and I do find that some text look a bit odd

.....or maybe I need to make the text bigger since I made the page smaller.

Hmm. Side-story, I'd like to see that

I think you mentioned in the chracter development that at least angels hair were inspired by korean(?) musician which I don't know at all. So I didn't think anybody real as I read, haha.
I can't draw wings at all, I'd like to but it's really hard. Yeah, I also been thinking to draw something else than musician for change...
I don't think the size was the problem, sometimes the text quality just seemed odd. But I don't really know anything about using flash so I can't really say.

....but I guess that would take the fun and pride of being able to finish something

Yup, but both characters were inspired by korean singers....well, you know fandoms, and shipping them with members of the same group, and the fanfics

Well at that time I had been reading a lot of fanfics of a particular pairing

But if you try, I'm sure you can draw some really cool/pretty wings

Even still, I still gravitate towards drawing humans. I even made it a goal to practice drawing poses. It's barely going to be day 3, but I'm trying to practice for at least 30 minutes to sketch poses. There is this one website that has a 30sec drawing training [link] ...so far I'm only drawing thumbnail figures

but hopefully I'll improve with that.
Was it the letters with the white border? Now that I looked at it, that one last sentence is sort of hard to read. Because you are talking about the flash version uploaded her on DA and not the video on youtube right?

Hmm interesting site, I'm sure your practice will be useful. Maybe even I'll try it when I have day off.

Well yes, that one was a bit hard to read. The other text was easy to read but some points looked weird, but like I said it might just be my computer (or then it's the size?). And I was talking about the flash, since I watched the video only yesterday (which I liked too ^__^ )

Yup Yup

it is, and I really like that there are so many poses both male and female that one can look through and use as reference when drawing. It's a really helpful site. Hopefully, but I wonder if just making fast thumbnail sketches is enough help. I'm probably going to increase the time for more than 30 seconds so I can try and get more detailed sketches.

Yup, you should, it's probably helpful, and you can just look through the many poses and get inspiration for a drawings.

well increasing the type should help, but then I don't want it to go over the drawings

well it was an interesting experience to create a comic so now I know for next time

If I decide to work on the side story, I'm going to try and focus more on the video.....and the flash-comic might just consist of screenshots

I don't know I still have to plan it all out
